Mr. Schwab is a principal of Apex and oversees all matters at the company. He is responsible for leading Apex’s investments across acquisitions, debt placement, dispositions, and developments. Prior to joining Apex, Mr. Schwab was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Annaly Capital (NYSE:NLY), a diversified capital manager with over $100 billion in assets, where he handled legal matters relating to transactions and asset management for the firm’s commercial real estate portfolio and the creation and growth of credit facilities for its direct lending platform. He previously worked in the real estate group at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP on a broad range of corporate and commercial real estate transactions for Blackstone, Carlyle, KKR, and other private equity clients.
Mr. Schwab received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was a Dean's Scholar Prize recipient, an Editor of the Harvard Business Law Review, and a class speaker at commencement exercises. He has served as a foreign law clerk on Israel’s Supreme Court and has composed songs for dozens of popular Jewish music artists. Mr. Schwab is currently Class Agent of the Harvard Law School Alumni Association and has previously served as Alumni Chairman of Yeshiva Darchei Torah.
Yechiel serves in an oversight and managerial capacity for Apex's asset management and accounting teams. Prior to joining Apex, Yechiel served as Director of Accounting at Arch Companies, where he managed all aspects of the company’s accounting, and as a Financial Controller at Lantree Developments and Northwind Group, where he was responsible for accounting and financial reporting in connection with a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions.
Mr. Kimmel is responsible for sourcing opportunistic portfolio acquisitions at Apex. Most recently, Arnie served as CEO for Pipeline Health in their Chicago area market. Prior to that he was Senior VP for Corporate Services for Franciscan Health and was the CEO of their Illinois hospitals in south suburban Chicago. In his career, Mr. Kimmel has held CEO and COO positions in community, religious sponsored, for-profit and university teaching hospitals and has generated substantial improvement in each.
For the last 15 years, his focus has been on strategic and operational turnarounds. He has consulted on bankruptcy workouts and has also headed the corporate Supply Chain Initiative for Ascension Health, the largest not-for-profit system in the country. Mr. Kimmel has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington University, St. Louis and a master’s in Hospital Administration from The University of Michigan.
Ruben Godinez assists with all legal matters at Apex. Prior to joining Apex, Mr. Godinez was an Associate in Ropes & Gray LLP’s real estate and private capital transactions groups, where he represented private equity clients, investors, and other financial institutions in a wide variety of M&A transactions and real estate matters. Mr. Godinez received a dual degree in Political Science and Psychology from Duke University. He obtained his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he served as a member of the Latinx American Law Student Association and the Environmental Law Society.
Mr. Schwartzman is a key component of both the asset management and acquisitions team at Apex. As an experienced healthcare underwriter, Daniel provides valuable insight into both prospective deals and assets under management within the portfolio. Prior to joining Apex, Daniel worked at the Israel Discount Bank of New York as an underwriter in its Healthcare Group. During Daniel’s tenure, the group managed a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities with a book value of more than $600MM. Daniel graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Mr. Cole assists with all legal matters at Apex. Prior to joining Apex, Jackson was an Associate in Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson LLP’s real estate group, where he represented clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition and financing of multifamily properties, office buildings and industrial assets. Mr. Cole graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. in History and obtained his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Urban Law Journal and served as a board member of the Fordham Sports Law Society.
With many years of experience in acquisition and development, Mr. Street is an integral part of Apex's asset management team. Tyler has worked in real estate development since 2008, managing and acquiring high net worth assets in Hawaii and Manhattan. Prior to joining the Apex team, Mr. Street worked at Alexander & Baldwin, where he managed over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial, residential, and industrial properties. At Savio Associate, a real estate brokerage based in Honolulu, Mr. Street served as Asset Manager where he oversaw a mixed portfolio of properties. Mr. Street attended the University of Colorado, where he studied business administration.
Tyler Parcells is responsible for the analysis of currently managed assets and the diligence of potential transactions. Serving previously as Director of Finance and Operations and Information Security Coordinator at Goldstein Capital Corp, where he tracked returns for over 30 managed accounts, Mr. Parcells brings experience in the preparation of financial statements and management of portfolios during highly volatile markets. Mr. Parcells earned his Bachelor’s of Engineering in Engineering Management at Stevens Institute of Technology.
Mr. Sabo assists with the analysis of currently managed assets and accounting matters at Apex. Prior to joining Apex, Avi was an account manager at Riveredge Advisors and he has experience as a title insurance agent. Mr. Sabo graduated from Touro College with a B.S. in Accounting.
Bianca Esposito brings extensive analytical experience to the Apex team as an Asset Management Analyst. Prior to Apex, Ms. Esposito served as a Research Associate at the Carl Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In this role, Bianca conducted computational neuroscience research focused on the underlying mechanisms of Familial Alzheimer’s Disease. Ms. Esposito graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Economics.
Mr. Weiss, an accountant, is a member of Apex asset management group. Mayer previously gained tax and accounting experience at PwC and Roth & Co.
Ms. Kohli assists with all accounting matters at Apex and is a member of the asset management group. Prior to joining Apex, Kajal was an accountant with Reliant Fund Services in New York. Ms. Kohli graduated from Baruch College with a Bachelor’s degree in General Finance.
Emmanuella is a skilled bookkeeper with extensive accounting experience in various industries, particularly within finance and real estate. She is dedicated to supporting internal operations by helping to maintain the accuracy of financial records to provide reliable data to colleagues, investors, creditors, and regulators. Emmanuella earned her undergraduate degree from New York University in 2011.
Mr. Snyder handles all legal tax matters at Apex. Prior to joining Apex, David was Of Counsel at Honigman LLP, where he represented clients in connection with a wide variety of real estate joint ventures and general real estate tax matters. Mr. Snyder graduated from Yeshiva University with a B.A. in economics and obtained his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a member of the Columbia Journal of Tax Law.
Mr. Mandel assists Apex's acquisitions, asset management, and legal teams as an analyst and paralegal. Aaron previously worked at Cantor Fitzgerald and Harborview Capital Partners. He earned a BBA in Corporate Finance and Economics from Macaulay Honors College, where he was a Macaulay Scholar.
David brings 20+ years of hands-on IT experience. Most recently, he served as Field Services Supervisor at HOCS Consulting, an IT services firm focused on healthcare and professional services. He previously held roles as Technical Lead and Senior Field Technician, handling migrations, new site rollouts, escalations, and daily support.
Ms. Borowsky joined the Apex legal team in 2025 as a Paralegal. Prior to joining Apex, Maddie was a Research Assistant for Washington University School of Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was a legal intern at Athlaw LLP, where she conducted internal audits and supported attorney’s in securing concussion settlements and disability benefits for former NFL athletes. Ms. Borowsky earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology of Global Health from Washington University in St. Louis.
Cameron Landis is responsible for the analysis of managed assets and diligence efforts for potential transactions. Previously, he worked at Holborn Corporation, a reinsurance intermediary, where he played a key role in underwriting analysis, portfolio evaluation, and client reporting. Mr. Landis earned his bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA in Business Analytics from North Dakota State University (NDSU).
